Temperature Controlled Reactors (TC series) The temperature of the acoustic cavity is controlled and maintained by heat transfer manifolds located inside the transducer cover(s). The fluid used to cool (or heat) the system may be compressed air, water, or oil. The temperature of the process solution is typically within 2° C to 5° C of the heat transfer fluid. The heat transfer fluid may be hot to quick start a system for immediate startup for steady-state operating under high temperature conditions. Please note that the TC Equipment Series requires a non-pressurized gravity drain for proper operation. |
