Temperature Controlled Reactors, (TC series). The temperature of the acoustic cavity is controlled and maintained by heat transfer manifolds located inside the transducer cover(s). The fluid used to cool (or heat) the system can be a water, oil or ethylene glycol based cooling medium. The temperature of the process solution is typically within 2° C to 10° C of the heat transfer fluid. The heat transfer fluid may be heated to quick start a system for immediate startup under high-temperature steady-state operating conditions. Please note that the TC Equipment Series requires a gravity drain, (ie non-pressurized).
